The "Home For Life" Technology Demonstration Center is designed as a showcase for both current and future products and services that can prolong independent living options for seniors and those with physical disabilities. The Center will be open to the public by appointment only. Anyone wishing to visit the center or receive additional information may call +1(816) 347-2380. Many of the products on display can be purchased from their respective companies or from Corpier Consulting Services as a convenience for one-stop shopping.
For may years, universities, technical and trade associations and other interest groups have had showrooms or "smarthouses" as they are commonly referred to. For the most part they focused on future items and concepts that are either not currently available or too costly for an individual to afford. The Home For Life Demonstration Center focuses on affordable products and services that are available now or in the very near future (30-90 days).
